The weather is glorious, so I am taking the 6 hour scenic route to Temecula with Toby. The wildflowers should be gorgeous in the desert. First left will have me skirting the foothills along rural Hwy 65.
The next leg takes me through the Mojave desert and the Tehachapi Mountains.
Yhen the last leg takes me to Temecula.
I may be crazy to take such a circuitous route, but it seems the most interesting way to go.

I went yesterday to the Lake Elsinore ones. First time I’ve ever seen a wildflower bloom (intentionally) and the parking/freeway exit traffic is as amazing as the flowers were.

I like that side of the mountains. I hardly ever get to take it, but it is pretty.
